It was in the year 2000 when the Lord gave us a vision of coming to the Philippines for ministry. With tremendous prayers seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he confirmed in our hearts that the year 2007 was the year to prepare for exit.

During our time of preparation, the Lord led us to an awesome DVD teaching series by a well-known preacher- John Bevere. He taught a 12 part series called "DRIVEN BY ETERNITY" . We felt led to listen to it, as a family, as part of our devotion. After we had finished the series, it truly challenged our hearts as a family to give up everything we have and go to the Philippines; and do what God has asked us to do.

Our obedience to him felt more as a command not a choice. There were 5 key things that John Bevere pointed out in his series about obedience. 

     #1. When you fear God, you obey Him instantly.
     #2. You obey God even when it doesn't make sense.
     #3. You obey God even when it hurts.
     #4. You obey God even you when you don't see the benefit of it.
     #5. You obey God to completion.

 Up to this day, these 5 things remained in our hearts as a reminder of why we are here. We praise God for allowing us to hear this teaching before we left the United States. We trusted God in everything and the Lord truly provided.

We arrived on the Island of the Philippines, July 6, 2007.  It has been 1 year and by the grace of the Lord, we've reached this point. God has opened doors for us to partner up with local pastors here in the Philippines, and establish our bible college called ISOM (International School of Ministry).

We have also been able to teach and hold Worship and Network Seminars, in discovering spiritual gifts, passions and personal style. We count it as a privilege to serve here in the country of the Philippines. God is continuously meeting all our needs. We are very happy here and it is a joy to know in our hearts that we are in God's perfect will.
