| Bible Studies: Leading home or church Bible Studies will help you and your ministry grow faster. Chaplaincy: A Chaplain's License is required to minister in detention centers and correctional institutions. Many hospitals and care facilities now require a Chaplain License. Police & Sheriff Departments are usually in need of Chaplains and usually provide additional training. Church Ministry: Many of our members have started churches. Many have worked their way from youth pastor to associate pastor to senior pastor of churches that have already been established. Community Service: Every community needs help in someway. Get involved in your community through various organizations. We have found that community involvement will grow a ministry faster than any other element of ministry. Counseling: Alcohol & Drug Rehab Domestic Abuse & Violence Marriage & Family Counseling The Association of Christian Alcohol & Drug Counselors are nationally accredited and can certify you. Couple's Ministry: Put together a team of couples and plan events & outings. Evangelism: We are all called to evangelize in our own way and in the ways of Christ. Family Ministry: Gather families together for events & outings. Food Ministry: If there is no food bank or ministry in your area, start one. If there is then help in anyway you can to learn the process and operation. Health, Fitness & Nutrition Ministry: The healthier we are the more the Lord can use us. New Life Coach offers a free six week training program and certification. Music Ministry: We were created to praise and worship God. Singles Ministry: Put together a group of singles and plan events & outings. Youth Ministry: There will always be a need to work with the young and the young at heart. Have some fun. At-Risk Youth: There are many government grants and faith based grants for working with at-risk youth. You must have your own 501(c)3 or be tax-exempt under the FGEA's group exemption to qualify for a grant. Retirement: Do ministers ever totally retire? We have members who write to inmates, write books, make phone calls, send out Bibles, anything they can to continue the Good News of Christ. These are just some of the many areas of ministry.
