Do I need a college degree?
No, to be licensed you do not need a college degree, however many of our members have Ph.D's. Masters degrees and/or other college degrees. When licensed with the FGEA we ask that you continue in biblical and ministerial learning. 

What does it cost to be licensed with the FGEA? 
There is a $25.00 application and processing fee, and your monthly contribution and annual renewal fee is based on your income as per our By-Laws.

Can I marry people and preside at funerals with an FGEA license?
Yes, the FGEA meets all legal requirements of the IRS, Federal and State Governments. And we will guide you through ever step. We are listed in Publication 78 of the IRS here: http://www.irs.gov/charities/article/0,,id=96136,00.html

Can I minister in prisons and detention centers?
Yes, but you must first qualify at the individual institution. States vary in their regulations, we will help you qualify.

I have been divorced, can I still be licensed?
Yes, the FGEA does not deny Ministerial Credentials because of divorce.
 
Is the FGEA a religion?
 No, we are a non-denominational Christian association of Ministers who believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. Many of our members are from Christian denominations. Religion is humanities way to search for God, Christianity is God's way for humanity to search.
